What is KrabX Crypto Trading?
KrabX is a non-custodial, cryptocurrency trading desk. We will buy, sell and swap cryptocurrency with you —no middlemen, no frozen funds—using trusted escrow platforms. Our mission is to provide fast, private trades with flexible payment methods.
How does the process work?
- Create an order – Choose the crypto type, payment method and amount, and indicate if you’re buying or selling.
- Identity verification: For various payment methods, KYC verification will be required. This includes a ID photo and short KYC form.
- Fund the trade – Send USD or cryptocurrency via your chosen method.
- Trade completion – Once the USD or cryptocurrency transfer has completed, the escrow platform will release the trade.
Why use KrabX instead of a regular centralized exchange?
For many reasons, traders choose to use a decentralized trading solution like KrabX to buy, sell and swap cryptocurrency.
Opposed to a regular centralized exchange, KrabX offers the following benefits:
- Greater privacy. Your KYC documents are securely stored by us, never sold or shared. Major cryptocurrency exchanges often sell information and have data leaks.
- Flexible payment methods. Major cryptocurrency exchanges are typically limited in payment methods, while KrabX accepts a larger variety of options for you to trade. For example, KrabX accepts cash, which is not typically accepted by centralized exchanges
- Instant settlement. Since KrabX is non-custodial, as soon we receive the funds/crypto, we immediately complete the trade. Centralized exchanges will often impose restrictions on when you can withdraw cryptocurrency from their platform, by using KrabX you can avoid this entirely and receive crypto or USD within minutes.
- Personalized trading experience. By using KrabX, you have access to your own personal crypto broker/trader that you can communicate with at any time. We do not provide financial advice. Not to mention, by using KrabX you support an individual rather than a multi-billion dollar exchange. Additionally, you will receive personalized care and support from KrabX with any issues related to our trades. If you research online, many traders complain about the low quality of support with centralized exchanges, with KrabX you won’t have to endure this.

What are the trading limits for each payment method?
Trading limits depend on verification, customer history, payment method, bank/provider limits, and other factors. We may approve higher limits for established customers after additional verification and review.
Typical limits (USD):
Debit/Credit Card (Payment Link): usually $100–$5,000 per transaction (higher may be available for verified, established customers).
Apple Pay / Google Pay: treated similarly to card payments; usually $100–$5,000 per transaction (availability and limits depend on the underlying card and provider controls).
Cash App: usually $100–$5,000 per transaction (limits vary widely by customer Cash App account).
Zelle: Unlimited, the only limiting factor is your bank (your bank’s Zelle limits apply; higher limits may be possible via alternative payment methods).
Wire Transfer: usually $300–$50,000+ (large wires may require extra ).
Important: We may require KYC/EDD at any amount based on risk indicators (velocity, mismatched details, higher-risk geographies, unusual behavior, etc.). We do not allow third-party payments.
Do you trade with customers in countries other than the United States?
At this time, we are only accepting trades from customers who are citizens of the United States. This may change in the future.
How can I trade using a business account?
We can support business customers, but the business must be verifiable and the payment source must match the business entity.
What we typically require (before your first business trade):
Business registration documents (e.g., Articles of Organization/Incorporation)
EIN confirmation (IRS letter or equivalent)
Ownership/beneficial owner information (IDs for beneficial owners and any authorized signer)
Business address and basic business profile (website, nature of business, expected trade volume)
Payment source in the business name (business bank account / business card)
What if I send from the wrong account/name mismatch?
For security and compliance reasons, the name on the payment method must match the verified customer or verified business. If funds are sent from an unapproved account (wrong name, third party, or unclear ownership), we will usually pause the trade.
What happens next:
We will request documentation to confirm ownership of the sending account, or
We will require you to resend from the correct account, or
We may return/refund the payment to the original source when possible.
Important notes:
Refunds/returns can take time depending on the payment rail and bank/provider processing.
Fees and unrecoverable costs (processor fees, bank fees, chargeback risk costs) may be deducted where applicable.
Repeated name mismatches or third-party attempts may result in a service decline.
To avoid delays, always send from the same name used during verification.
How are rates set? When is the price locked?
KrabX rates are based on real-time market pricing and include a spread that reflects liquidity, volatility, settlement risk, payment method risk, and operational costs.
When trading via LocalCoinSwap or Bitvalve, the rate of the cryptocurrency is locked upon opening of a trade.
When trading direct on KrabX.com or via a communication platform other than LocalCoinSwap or Bitvalve:
The rate is locked upon KrabX’s receipt of the money/cryptocurrency. You can ask for a quote if you’d like to lock the rate upfront to receive a specific amount of crypto/cash. Example: if you’d like to receive 1 ETH exact, ask for a quote upfront, KrabX will then tell you exactly how much cash to send in order to receive 1 ETH exactly.
